Sea World
Emmy (Jeremy's mom) renewed the kids SeaWorld passes for Christmas! Yea! We love going to Sea World, especially during the off season. Jackson and Providence got to give Shamu Santa a hug. Fynn isn't in to giant animals.

We feed the dolphins once or twice a year when we have passes. It is overpriced, but it is such a fun experience. 6 months ago Fynn was terrified and crying when he saw the dolphins. He's come along way.

Atticus absolutely adores fish. It's his favorite (and one of only a couple) words. He loved the giant aquarium and said fish the whole time.

Trying to get a family picture. Thanks Jackson and Atticus. I am not sure what got the other two's attention.

Jackson and the Elvis snowman.

Fynn loves the dolphin show. Speedy, acrobatic dolphins + acrobatic divers + a fast paced show=one happy guy. Add cotton candy, and he is just ecstatic.

We met my parents and they took Jackson and Providence home with them. Those two have an exciting day planned at the Snake Farm. We hung out, so Fynn would fall asleep and stay asleep in the car. Atticus is a lover of ice cream.

Fynn would only share with Atticus. Sweet, brotherly love. When Jeremy or I asked, Fynn refused. Atticus is in higher standing.

Christmas with the Taylors

After the kids were finally in bed, Santa got to work putting out presents and stuffing stockings.
Fynn got his Megazord, Atticus got a drum and instruments, Providence got a DoodleBear and Jackson got a Hero Factory XL.
Jackson was the first up and was excited to find Gelt in his stocking. He studied Hanukkah at school and found the chocolate coin treat yummy. This is all surprising because he usually says he doesn't like chocolate.
Helping Atticus open up his stocking and look at all those handsome boys!
Atticus was a lot more fun this Christmas!
Mom, why is this cup empty!? Where is my drink!?
She begged for this purse for months. I really should have just gotten it for her, instead of a doodlebear. It was filled with all things girly, too. She loves putting on her lotion and spraying her body spray. She also loves putting on the different lip glosses!
Happy boy. He got a power ranger morphin' phone and a megazord!
After church, we headed to my parents house for Christmas there and dinner. They had so much fun getting to open presents again! (look at Providence's stylin' shades)
That is one fun living room floor!
Yea! Velveeta. I love that yummy velveeta dip, but it's taken a cut because of inflation. I can't bring myself to fork over $6 for processed cheese loaf. My mom surprised me with a block of it!
Providence got this pretty pink coat and hat from Nanny! She loves it!
Playing outside with GD and Uncle Eric.
Speaking of uncles, Jackson's got him this. Yep, that would be a Nintendo DS. Poor Santa just can't compete!
Trying to keep warm!
Jackson got another Hero Factory from his grandparents. He put it together all by himself. This was a big deal, considering it has 127 pieces and I look at the directions and want to cry.
Providence is the proud owner of a new EZ Bake oven. It's a perfect gift for her! She had to make the things right away. I am going to find better recipes, because the ones that EZ Bake makes are lacking.
It was such a fun Christmas this year!

Merry Christmas to All!
This and that and a ride one the minivan express
I saw a fun idea on pintrest on turning looking at lights into a ride on the minivan express. We didn't do the tickets this year, but we did get in our pajamas and get hot chocolate. Providence was very upset because 1) she wanted to ride the real Polar Express and 2) her hot chocolate tasted like beans. Everyone else seemed to have a good time.

Atticus loved painting! He smooshed the colors all around.

Some days are just 2 sucker days.

Fynn showing off his "shomershaut" (somersault)

Someone is starting to look a lot like his daddy.

My almost 7 year old.

GFW- Present giving and receiving
Okay, it's Thursday. Let's just pretend I did this yesterday. It's guilt free, right?
I am working on learning to be a gracious receiver. I hate, hate, hate when someone hands me a gift (no matter how small) and I have nothing to give in return. I feel guilty.
No more of that.
Instead, I am going to be gracious with what is given to me. I know when I give a gift, it comes with out strings. I do it because I want to show the person I appreciate them. Most people give gifts for the same reason. For the few that have other motives in gift giving, I highly doubt it is worth the energy I spend worrying about it.
Sometimes the best gift you can give is to smile and say thank you.

Christmas on the River Walk
We headed to the river walk with Josh, Zach and KC. We had fun running around and looking at all the decorations. We are glad Josh, Zach and KC are here for a visit!
